With the announcement of iOS 15, Apple announced Find My will be coming to apple watch, however, that begs the question, will we be able to precision find AirTags with the Apple Watch Series 6? As we know, Apple Watch Series 6 does have the apple U1 chip onboard to enable ultra wide band. However, it seems that this feature is not currently being used for anything. It's not seemingly being used for unlock iPhone with Apple Watch, as this feature works with older models as well. What then, does Apple plan on utilizing the U1 chip for? Handoff with iPhone? Maybe now we'll be able to precision find Airtags with Apple Watch? Or maybe we should be able to precision find our Apple Watch with our iPhone? Or with the release of Find My on Apple Watch, maybe we'll be able to precision find our iPhones?
What do you think is coming?
