Preorder Starcraft 2 at Game Stop = Beta key today!

I had pre-ordered Starcraft 2 in March through Amazon and they just sent me a key for the beta, so GameStop isn't the only one doing this.
Is that Amazon US or one of the international sites? And did they email you the key, or was it by postal mail?
Mind if I ask what the time stamp is on that email? I'm trying to get an idea of average wait time...
It was the US Amazon, I received an email this morning with the beta key. I wasn't expecting it so I was quite surprised!
I just received my second one. This time I ordered from the website for a friend of mine and it took just under 36 hours. If you're going on 48, you may want to give gamestop a call.
I got mine just shy of 27 hours after I placed my order. Thankfully it's only a 1.6 GB download, so I should be able to play it sometime tonight!
How do you get the game? I mean, if I order it from amazon (they also say they'll send a key), where do I download the game from? Do I need to have a previous Blizzard game on my computer to get it? I tried signing up for the Beta through Blizzard already, but I had to have a previous game, and all my discs are back in the States (studying in Europe).
go to www.battle.net. click the "add game" link. put the key from amazon in. sc2 beta will be your list of games tied to your bnet account, click it, click download.
Gamestop 2 codes
Went to gamestop today to reserve my copy of SC2.. Upon returning home saw that there were 2 beta codes printed on my receipt. Now waiting for it to be available on macs. After searching blizzard stated that the mac beta is expected to release in april so hopefully this week. Maybe even later today seeing that they are doing maintenance on battle.net. Here's hoping

If it so happens you don't know how to give your second key to, you'd make me very happy with it.
Here in the netherlands we have no gamestop, no amazon.. even the facebook contests of Blizzard are US only.. not to mention every free give-away happens when it's in the middle of the night here.

what happens when i want to buy the mac os x version online from gamestop? it says i have the pc version in my cart and there's no option to change that. then when gamestop emails me the beta code, how do i make sure i download the os x and not pc version from battlenet?
It's universal (hybrid). When you put the beta key on battle.net you will have the option to download either the windows client or mac client. Same thing will happen when you get the retail license. You put that into your battle.net account you will have both clients.
