I want to fade mine out. Can you swim with the nylon Apple bands or bleach them?
Also, if someone wants to trade, I'll trade my new unused $49 42mm band for an orig 42mm giveaway one..

You mean the "Pride edition" given away to Apple employees last year?

For those curious here’s what it looks like on the Gold Apple Watch.

Got mine today - looks great with my aluminum gold Apple Watch - I am curious what everyone thinks - as a straight guy that just wants to have a good looking colorful band is this only okay in June or good the other months too?
As another straight guy, with many gay friends, I say wear it when it pleases you to do so. Do you think that rainbow flags are only flown during June?

If it sends any message (other than just "pretty colors" or "I like rainbows"), it says, "I support the idea that people shouldn't be persecuted because of their sexual orientation" - it doesn't signal that you're gay, just that you aren't in favor of discrimination. (Of course, if you hang out with, say, the Westboro Baptists, it might not go over so well.)

FWIW, my nieces think it's awesome because rainbows. (They were also worried that my watch "was broken" the first time I wore two different color band pieces together - Mint and Azure works nicely, as does Mint and Light Pink.)

You wear that band whenever you want. I'm straight but I love the colors, forget anyone who says differently.

I love how this band looks with the H edition. I usually switch my bands on the daily but I'm liking this combo so much I went all weekend with the Pride band. Also, looks awesome with B&W Mickey and the Moon face. I guess it's the contrast between rainbow and black/white that makes it look so good.

Looks good. I've been thinking about getting this band as well.

Why oh why can't apple give us *any* rectangular watch faces! I have close to 700.00 in bands and then 600.00 for the S2SS watch, and all that's offered is Toy Story. Really? Even the ceramic watch at 1200 doesn't get anything special. I guess I'll have to spring for the Hermes S3 provided it uses the same bands.

I agree on the rectangular face, it would great if they offered it on the regular models. My opinion is Apple wants to give Hermes a little bit of exclusiveness and that is one of the ways they're doing it. Kind of weird because there's a million ways you can make a rectangular Watch face unique, but I can't imagine any other reason they haven't done it yet.

That's ok, I'm not judging you too harshly when I look @ my S2SS with the pride band that I picked up today ;)

Only a couple left at one of the 3 Apple stores here in Seattle. After that it looks like you won't be able to get one until August according to the Apple Store app. Also picked up the Carmellia sport band.

Thought it would be nice to show a bit of support to some of my friends who are participating in the two PrideFests here in Seattle this weekend.

Wow, glad I got mine then. I imagine as soon as Pride month is over Apple might stop making them-just a guess. I'm glad I picked one up, I really love the look.

I'd be really surprised if anyone would do that trade. I sold my orig for 700 bucks.

It looks awesome, I just don't know if I can pull it off. Hell, I'm having a hard time convincing myself I can pull off the Pollen woven band as a male.

My advice: never let that stop you - wear what you want.

I have both and they're probably my two favorites of the last several months. Both are prettier in person than in the pictures, and, particularly, look great when you catch them in the corner of your eye while wearing them (as opposed to all the close-up pictures floating around).
