So anyone who has done this, an uses a non apple external display, does it work okay? with a minidisplay adapter to dvi? Any problems with this or poor quality picture?

id like to know the answer to this also. As i plan on picking up a 11" air and 20- 24 monitor, non-ACD.. Further whats the best way of hooking it up dvi, vga, hdmi..??
