For my business I take photos of peoples houses from in their yard, to send to my workers, .5 gets so much more or even the whole house in photos.
You can't always move back further.
For still shots, using a short panoramic shot is a pretty good workaround though if you don't have the ultrawide lens. But not good if things are moving in the shot or for video of course.

Pro. Easy choice for me. I will always chose the better cameras & longer battery life over thinness every time. Others may chose the Air and that’s cool. It’s a nice looking iphone. Just not for me. I’m really into photography, and prefer the 3 cameras on the Pro. If they ever make an Air with the same cameras as the Pro and an all day battery life I’d get one. But then so would everybody else & there’d be no reason to get the Pro. 😂

I leaning toward the Pro Max. However I haven't completely discounted the Air yet. By far the most common thing anyone does with their phone is hold it, so ergonomic are important. I just need to goto the Apple Store and play around with both.

I'm curious how you use the ultra wide. Besides an occasional macro shot, I found most ultra wide shots look like a distorted fish eye lens - not flattering to people or landscapes. I found myself using the telephoto regularly, but rarely ever using the ultra. In what situations or shots do you use the ultra wide?
Shooting close up photos of people leads to some interesting photosthatyou wouldn’t get with the regular wide lens/camera.

If anything, I don’t have much use for the tele. I rarely use it, but actually used it last year during my childrens’ music recitals.
