How can I protect my entire iMac 24 alu?
The ScreenSavrz is way too thin and covers only the front.
I'm looking for a thick soft cover protecting the entire iMac, 360º around and from the top of the screen down to the aluminum stand.
Is there anything like that available on the aftermarket?

I don't know of any other company that makes things like that for iMacs. Radtech is the only one I know that makes iMac covers. If you don't mind me asking, why do you want to fully cover the iMac up? It's a thing of beauty and should be showcased in all its glory!

I'd like to preserve the "beauty" of my new iMac 24 for several years, that's why I'm looking for a proper protection of my high-tech equipment.

If you have kids and/or pets it's hard to protect your iMac screen. Trowing toys at the screen or scratching the glass with claws will undoubtable ruin the "beauty".

There should be a few more companies than just RADTECH;
maybe EBAY or other companies in Europe or Asia.
I'll keep on searching.

If you move it around or touch the screen or it hits something or whatever it won't get damaged or dirty.

Okay, you're basically right.
But a pillow case is too thin and worst of it, it looks too bad.
That bad look would hurt MarkMS, he wants to expose the beauty.
:)

I have never heard of putting a case/cover on a desktop until now. It just sounds ridiculous. Why would you want to uglify a beautiful machine that just sits on your desk?

I would also think that a case will bring heat issues due to enclosing the iMac and possibly cause it to overheat.

It's meant for using while the iMac is off!

Why not just get a cabinet desk?
Open the cabinet when using your iMac, and close it when you're not.

if you are really that worried about it you could just put it in the box it came in when your not using it and then take it back out and hook it back up when you want to use it i know it sound unpractical but if you really want to keep it nice that could work:apple:

There must be a better solution! :)

why on earth do you need to protect it.it just sits there. unless you live with monkeys who will be jumping and climbing around.some people just get to carried away.

i bought a large roll of this see thru sticky plastic stuff and cut out bits for my macbook palm rest, mouse pad, click button and all the keys. find something like that and you could put it on ur screen aswell, but ur screen should be okay since its glass.and you know how the ipod touches screens are,so since ur mac isnt doing anything besides sitn there i think it would be fine. just cut out bits to go around ur imac etc.
