It has been reasonably stable, but i have definitely experienced some resprings. Only significant problem was using directions to get me to an important meeting when GPS died. Had to use my cars built in GPS instead so was not a problem thankfully.

The likelihood of running a beta and not experiencing any issues at all is slim but on my X they have been minor at worst. I am never totally reliant on my phone and am more than happy to completely reset it if needed.

I would say if you’re not tech-savvy or need a smoothly running phone at all times then don’t run any betas. If you like to tinker and don’t mind some unpredictable issues then enjoy it.

DB 3 ran great on my iPhone X. I had no issues with rebooting, respringing, short battery life, the camera, or the phone gettting hot like in other years. There seems to be a few quirks to be on the look out for though.

Personally I rolled back to iOS11 because my activity badges disappeared and (more importantly) all of my voice mails, except 2 random ones, disappeared. Restoring from an iOS 11 backup brought everything back. I will try again with DB 4.

well its a BETA until Apple releases it as a final. There is a due date for 12 for when it becomes a final, usually tied to a new iPhone. It then magically is no longer a beta regardless of what issues remain.

Is software really ever finished?

I suppose not. But I've never run into any deal-killing problems when upgrading to official-release versions.

The only time iOS felt truly unfinished to me was the iPhone 6 Plus with iOS 8. They eventually patched the problems but the first couple of months were rather rough.
