I thought the Dev Betas have been released a day before the public betas? The last two have been that way. I dont have a dev account so I specifically need the public beta.

There's no real rule or expectation of release timing. This time both seemed to have gotten released at about the same time.

That said, seems like with the public beta profile you should be getting the latest public beta, and if you uninstall that profile (while already on a public or developer beta for iOS 9) you should be able to get the latest developer beta (which is the same as the latest public beta).

Yea, I dont know. Ive deleted the profile, restarted my phone and it still shows PB2 even without the profile installed. After I reinstall the profile, it still shows PB2.

Well with a near simultaneous release of this Developer and Public beta I'm guessing we may see only 1 more Beta between now and Gold Master.

PB 3 and Beta 5 have the same build numbers making them identical. PB3 should show up as an update if you install the beta profile or if you're on PB2.

Ok, so my update seems to be stuck: I downloaded, it went through the first full progress bar, then rebooted, got to the dim progress bar, and has been stuck about 25% of the way through that for the past 10 minutes. What should I do here?

EDIT: and just after I hit send, the progress bar whipped to the end, rebooted and I'm at the lock screen.

They've been posted on the Developer Beta 5 Board.

Do you mean on this forum or the Apple Dev forum? I meant the brand new 15 wallpapers that were just added. Not the "wave" wallpaper.

No one posted the actual wallpapers themselves...just a screenshot showing that there were new ones. There's a way to get them off the device, but I'm not sure if anyone here knows how to do that.

After doing the profile trick to download and install B5, I went back to the beta site to re-enroll my iPhone into the public beta due to PB3 and noticed something particular -- it offers an option to install a profile for the Apple Watch. Is this new?

No not new. You can install profiles for both the phone and watch. No public betas for the watch have been released yet though.

I meant on the board here on Macrumors that is talking about the Developer Beta 5.

Is anyone else getting an error when trying to install PB3 over OTA? I deleted and re-downloaded it and it's still not working...

How do you get the Siri proactive thing working? I just installed it on my iPad 3. My home screen is no different than iOS 8.

It should work now. Got mine working. Strange thing is, all the stock wallpapers from previous iOS are gone. Only new ones available now. Looks like Apple is really trying to create a brand new image for iOS 9.

I cannot see most, if not all, of my icloud photos. Anyone else have a large icloud photo library that they cannot see? Everything else seems alright to me.
