Letting my time machine run will re start macbook tomorrow
It should be CMD + shift + 3 (4), NOT F3 (F4).

Same for me...and If my memory is correct...there was similar issue like this with the Yosemite beta program.Me 3.

This beta is pretty terrible. Don't know what they did but Chrome is slow and I have spinning beachballs galore. Ugh

I use the Chrome Dev builds, so maybe try that?Glad it's working for you. Thankfully I have the Yosemite partition backed up which works fine

Weird, VLC is now opening with a different language. Also having sound issues with my bluetooth headphones.
