A little off topic but I just got a puppy (female) and I'm trying to come up with a name that incorporates graphic design or an art term and I thought this might be the place to find some creative thinkers. I really want to call her jpeg but my husband vetoed it. Any ideas?

Yes, I was assuming we all knew that one, so I was reminding her of the other definition, which might have been appropriate, depending on the puppy's behavior.
I like pica, but if it's black, white, or black and white, how about the art term Chiaroscuro? (The Italian term for light and dark.) While that's kind of a mouthful, you could call her Chiara (pronounced Key-ar-uh) for short...?
