Purevpn crashing macos big sur

Anybody using purevpn with bigu sur?
Since I upgraded to big sur, my mac was crashing on startup, while purevpn was opening up. Started in safe mode to remove purevpn from startup apps. it worked fine, but each time i want to launch purevpn, it crashes my mac....Anybody else?

I've been using PureVPN all the way through the betas, apart from it starting after boot up with a blank splashscreen, not had an issue.

Uninstall little snitch through their recommended method. once you have done that, do NOT empty the trash. Instead drag the LS app out of the trash and back into your apps folder.

Once you have done that, use an app like appcleaner and drag the LS app onto it. This will enable you to remove ALL remnants of the LS install. Reboot, and see if your vpn works.

Thanks for the suggestion, just tried this, and same result...

Crashed my system. First time using since Big Sur install.

I am having the same problems too. When using Big Sur beta this was fine but since full edition of Big Sur yesterday PureVpn crashes my Mac and I have to reboot ! I emailed Purevpn and they say no one else has reported this but Iknow they have and pointed it out to the staff but hey.. denial goes a long way !

I express my astonishment to them that they say no one reported the issue. I opened a ticket, spent an hour with them on chat, after many crashes, they told me to setup purevpn manually, and say I hope this fix your issue...
the more report they get in, the better for us...

Same problem here. Starting up PureVPN causes kernel panic and it immediately crashes and restarts. I also have Little Snitch 5 installed.

Hi, thanks for the feedback, would you mind to reeport this to purevpn support. That's the only way they will take this seriously, they still tell me, I'm the only one with this issue!
 
One thing I can add, if I start my mac in safe mode, I can run purevpn with no problems.
I suspect one of the app starting with my system creating this crashes when launch with purevpn.

Apps starting on system startup: Bitdefender Anitvirus 8.2.29, Little Snitch 5.0, Adobe creative cloud 5.3.1.470, 1password 7.6, and my wacom tablet drivers.

Does anybody with the same problem has one or more of those apps running on startup?
 
Hi, I also have the same problem, open PurePVN and full system crash. Also have Little Snitch 5 running and the wacom drivers. Non of the others you have....
Created a ticked @purevpn

Hello there, when can we expect a fix for the crash occuring when little snitch is installed?

they have so far closed all tickets I submitted on their support, replying hope the issue is fixed...From an outsider point of view, it appears they are just brushing off the issue under the rug. I really hope I'm wrong on that one. It's black Friday week and there are awesome deals to be made out there with Nordvpn for example and many others...

Hi, I manage to get a version 3.0.11 production626. Installed in Big Headache, not working.
Downgrade to Catalina, installed 3.0.11, working. Then upgrade to Big Sur (because Catalina didn't read
Big Sur's Time Machine, :mad:) now 3.0.11 working.
