plus while i'm at it...; when i reply to an email i click on the "from" address, which is by default xxx@me.com and then the cursor jumps to "Cc:", so i have to click the "from" again and then the popup with my choices pops up... any way to skip these extra steps, so that it pops to the choices pop up immediately.?

thanks.

couple points

Couple points here.

I use Mobileme for ONE of my emails. I did some very segmented battery tests, and turning OFF MM push, doubled my battery life. So, PUSH was turned off.

My Yahoo account does PUSH too. the minute I send an email, and yahoo PUSH is on, boom, there is the mail. this cannot be considered FETCH.

I have turned off ALL PUSH settings, since the battery life really suffers.

Now, with LS off, WIFI on, BT On, 3G on, PUSH off, screen at 35-40%, I get 30+ hours standby, 7 hours usage, 45 minutes calling, etc.

Not sure what your point is in the bolded part. Stating the obvious? I ran some tests earlier in this thread, where someone had told me yahoo was auto push, and then I discovered that wasn't true and there are settings to turn push off for yashoo buried in the settings. I have hotmail and yahoo now set to fetch. I do a fetch every hour. I just changed these settings a few days ago, so I'm not sure how it affects my battery, since I'm at home (on wi-fi) while on leave.
