Hey all, doesn't anyone have any fears that this whole pushmail system is pretty much based on the fact that you all are just taking this developer Simon's word that he does not read or store your emails that you are forwarding to him? Yeah he has responded by saying that he does not read or store, but you don't really know this person. Are you willing to just take his word for it? At the end of the day you pretty much just have to trust this complete stranger with forwarding all of your emails to him and/or his server at dopushemail.com. This seems like a mighty risk if you ask me.

Yeah, I want to keep the amount of people that view my emails down...ha.

Works great!

I love getting my email quickly, and this app works like a charm. You don't have to even open your mail.app to see what the email is, as you can see the sender, subject and the opening lines, right on your iPhone's main screen, even when the iPhone is locked. It's exactly what I have been wanting. Highly recommended.

If the developers are reading - you should allow the pop up screen that shows you the sender/subject/message to take up more screen real estate, and thus show MORE of the message. It would be a huge help. I'd love it if the pop up too up the entire iPhone screen. Don't worry about it being intrusive. Right now it's a small box in the middle, and you have to dismiss it anyway before you can do any other work on the iPhone. Unless you're locked into a particular box size by Apple, I say go full screen!

Bought this today and its working real well. I just set up gmail filters to filter the accounts I want and bingo. I've turned my mail settings to fetch manually and only allow push. Hopefully this will save on some battery life, plus I'll see when there are emails waiting right on the status screen.

This is the next best thing to Gmail enabling the exchange sync for email

Push notifications are locked into that size box. Can't go full screen.

Ah, thanks, that's too bad.

On the plus side, another issue thing this app improves on is email notification without having to go into the mail app. I really missed that blinking light my blackberry had on the device itself that let you know you had new email. It's a pain having to open the mail app and fetch new mail, every time you want to check to see if you even have new email. This app solves that problem as well.
