Quad 30" ACD with Mac Pro - Picture

Yeah, for some strange reason the right monitor keeps dropping out on the iMac setup, can't figure it out. *&^$ Thunderbolt wackiness.

Almost mind-boggling they didn't align those thunderbolts to the 27"s height wise.

Yeah, but interestingly enough under Mavericks at least you can tweak the display positioning such in Preferences that the mouse cursor will indeed do a straight track across when panning across them. Agreed though, you'd have though with their attention to little details it's nuts to miss on that height that badly...
