Quadro 4000 for Mac does not work with Maya 2011/OSX 10.6.6

i just wanted to update the thread and let everyone know that i got the Quadro 4000 for Mac to work with Maya 2011.

Hey bud can you give us an update on Maya 2011 with your Quadro 4000? I too have it running somewhat smooth on a MP 12core but not using Maya.
We thought about buying a mac seat of Maya but Im still hearing that 2011 is lag city on OS X
We just got our 2012 update but we only have PC license.

Have you noticed with the Quadro 4000 installed that the FAN speeds for the Expansion Slot will be much higher, even when the computer is idle ?

No I havent but then I have 3 Mac Pros, 2 BOXX PC's and 2 stupid Windows boxes(long story) in my office plus 2 air-fans going at the same time
Ill shut them all down and listen for it.
I have to do that to install an ATTO ExpressSAS card.
