Actually, since the official measure of "largest ships" is gross tonnage, the QM2 is no longer even the largest passenger ship, having been surpassed by Freedom of the Seas.

Actually, since the official measure of "largest ships" is gross tonnage, the QM2 is no longer even the largest passenger ship, having been surpassed by Freedom of the Seas.
I remember being aboard the Voyager of the Seas back in 2001 when it was the largest passanger ship. It amazes me how large these things keep getting!
Here are a couple of Photos I took of Queen Mary 2 when it was docking 3 years ago in Hamburg, Germany.
Yeah it was in Sydney on the 20th also passing the sister ship Queen Elizabeth 2, saw it arrive on tv.
