Why are these people not sent home? If i brought a sleeping bag and a backpack and sat in front of the toy store, they'd probably think I was in al queda and lock me up.

Anyone care to lay odds on how many people will be in that line by 4:00 PM Friday?

Hard to say, but I'm sure it will be lot. I had to go into Manhatten earlier this morning so I couldn't resist walking by the Apple Store to see this nonsense.

Just as I was standing there shaking my head at these people, a car goes by behind me and a guy leans out of window and yells, "HA! <derogatory slur> !!" and kept going.

I nearly peed laughing.

Am I the only one who didn't notice that they're setting up some sort of event or concert to the left of the store?

Hey all, let's try to keep our heads cool and level...

... and on topic, please. :)

They are probably being mistaken for homeless.

They certainly look it.

There were three people at SoHo as of last night and they are all part of the same group. No need to go there yet, you still have a good 20 hours before you would need to even consider making a move.
