I will wait for Docs to Go...
However, a big strike against this is app is that you cannot download doc files to your app from your email.
Because only Apple can define how to handle the opening of files from emails, developers can't define that a .xfgajfkla file is always opened by their app.
so wait, if my company sends me a file, i CANNOT open it in this app and edit it? FAIL... sorry, do not pass go, do not collect $19.99.
Right now the only way to save files (besides photos) from your emails is to use an app like iStorage or Folders and use their built-in browsers to access your email account over the web. You can then save the document. What these mobile Office Suites will need is a built-in web browser that can download files and store them locally in their sandbox. Readdle Docs has this ability too.
This saving files only within an app's "sandbox" is becoming quite a negative for the iPhone. It needs a central file repository that any app can access like it has for photos. And you should be able to save any type of file attached to an email.
or with readdledocs you can forward an email with an attachment to a certain address they give you, and then it shows up in your readdle online storage
I'm really pondering whether or not I should get this.

I would wait because DataViz Docs to Go should be coming out in about 1 month and it should be excellent. You can then compare to two and pick the best one. This is what I'm going to do.
This is my first negative post here on MacRumors.... DO NOT BUY THIS COMPANY'S SOFTWARE. Read the reviews for their former MobileFiles Pro (now "quicksheet"). They are one of the most unethical companies I have ever dealt with. They promised this upgrade to all early adopters and then changed the app to a less than "Pro" version and released this new one at a ridiculous price point. Buyer Beware. I would much rather say positive things on these forums, but I really don't want potential buyers to be bit the way all of us early adopters were.
I'm wondering what's going to happen when/if they introduce the ability to edit Powerpoint slides. Are they going to add that function, rename the app to Quickoffice Mobile Office Suite Pro, and then charge another $19.99 for it (instead of offering it as a free update)?
Quite a few developers do this in the app store. Look at the makers of xplane. For different types of aircraft they have a different app.

Except that the xplane dev's never said that the new planes would be added in future updates as the developers of MF Pro said that word processing would be added...thats what people are PO'd about
Correct me if im wrong
Version 1.1.1 was released last night and the update allows saving a Word document and Xml file to be saved into a folder.
It also allows allows sending of files via email. These are steps in the right direction.
Things I would like to see in the coming updates are the ability to open files (from email) and autocorrect.
I guess someone will come up with a "work-around".
Just a matter of time before Apple releasesiLifeiWork
Still unusable since you can't download files from your email and edit them. If I have to use an available laptop or desktop to get a file into this App in order to edit it, why wouldn't I just use the laptop or desktop to do my editing then. I can't say this is exactly their fault, but Apple's fault for making everything hard to do on this GUI. I guess someone will come up with a "work-around".
