Quickpwn out for Mac now!

You don't restore, you update. This means that your music and vids stay on the phone, as do your SMS database, notes, etc...

so in order to save all my themes and everything on my phone when I want to update my jailbroken iphone 3G, i use quickpwn?

i'm just confused as to which i want to use when updating an already broken jailphone so i keep everything on it but just have the most up to date version.

I don't think anyone has said that Jailbreak data stays. If it does, that's nice. But there is software you can use to backup your jailbreak stuff so you can restore that after your updates. I forget what it was called.

so I went through quickpwn...and there was no option to turn off custom images like I thought. Everything was pretty much automatic and now I have the stupid pineapple...ghey

3G or 2G iphone? For the billionth time, the 3G cannot be unlocked yet, only jailbroken. If for the 2G I dont really know, didnt use quickpwn...did it ask you "Are you a legit iPhone user?" if it did, hit "No" to unlock and jailbreak it....if you hit "Yes" it will only jailbreak.

I successfully used quikpwn(mac) on 1st gen phone and then installed bootneuter 2.1 but after running it, the phone is still locked. I have tried flashing it in both 3.9 and 4.6. Each time it states commcenter is still loaded. I assume this is the problem but am unsure of what to do next. Any help would be appreciated

Zibri also hacked the iPhone in such a manner that it made it unstable and broke parts of the system. Pwnage and Quickpwn doesn't do this.

3G phone at 2.0.2 ran quickpwn and now it is stuck at the pineapple logo

I have gone through the quickpwn process twice with the same result. After it sends the two files to the phone, it then reboots to a screen with the pineapple logo and it is stuck there.

I can not power off with the power button. I have to hold power and home button to turn it off. Then it boots to nothing but the pineapple logo

Anyone know what is going on?

I am having the same problem, phone is stuck on the pineapple screen. Any ideas? on how to get back into recovery mode?
