Anyone experiencing these random quick restarts? Happened twice to me today, using new 11 pro max

I’ve not had any for a while but I did on an earlier beta version (might have been 13.1.2 beta) it’s been fixed in an update just got to wait for it to be released on a update to public

My iPhone 10 used to do the same thing with early releases of iOS 12 but after the updates it stopped

My old 6S did this. It was a launch day phone, and it would randomly shut down and wouldn’t power back on until it was plugged in to charge. Dangerous if you were out and about and didn’t have access to a charger! It was a widespread issue with launch day 6Ss and Apple announced a free battery replacement for affected devices. Once the battery was changed the phone worked fine. Maybe you need a battery replacement?

He has a brand new 11 Pro Max, unlikely a battery issue

I’m going through Apple support and they are logging everything the phone does, so it’ll get sorted out, honestly I think it’s iOS 13 bug but we will see

sometimes an app can kill the phone and force a restart. I've been using the same iPhone 6 Plus for 4+ years on the original OS (9) and in the past, very rarely it would respring. The OS hasn't been updated in 4+ years so it wasn't a new OS thing, and it stopped doing it for a year or so. It has happened to this phone probably 7 times in 4 years. I never did anything to try to "fix the problem" it just stopped doing it.
Like the Mac, iOS is hardly perfect. It can freeze or auto restart occasionally, and iOS 13 is definitely a buggy release, so anything can happen with it.

Happening to me too - has done it 3 times since upgrading to 13.2 yesterday. Deffo a bug. Last reboot was whilst navigating through mail. Frustrating...

Hi.
i have the same issue, and to me it started after 13.2 update. If the iOS version is relevant I really don’t know. I just got Apple support to run diagnose and they say my hardware is fine so they assume its software Issues that will be fixed. Did you find any solution With your phone?

I have the same problem with my 11 Pro running 13.2 and it's maddening. It happens 2-3 times a day at least.

I'm going to say it only started after the update but I can't be 100% sure because I can't remember when I updated. I do know that it seems to be a recent problem though so that probably means that it started happening after the update.

They ran a diagnostic on my phone and determined that it's not hardware-related. Sounds like a software update will be coming soon...

you have to check the analysis of the device that is doing the iPhone restart. Usually either the system, memory test or springboard.
