Driver problems fixed
Though this is an old thread, I would like to add a few words on how I got my Razer Orochi (2009 edition) to work, since I haven't seen anyone else on the internet post this solution.
After having installed the driver (Razer Orochi Full Mac Driver v2.00 (English)) from Razer's website on my Macbook Pro (OSX 10.9), everything seemed fine, and I was able to adjust everything through the System Preferences pane that became available. Somehow things then went pear-shaped, and the mouse would not click and moved extremely slowly across the screen. Multiple reinstalls did nothing, and my mouse stopped being recognized by the Razr software. I also tried installing Synapse, but that resulted in a Kernel Panic and didn't really seem to be working properly, though it did "see" my mouse was connected.
Before donating the mouse to charity, I booted up into Windows 7 through bootcamp, installed the Windows driver (Razer Orochi Driver v1.02), and everything worked perfectly both wired and via Bluetooth. I set up the mouse to my liking including two of the buttons to adjust DPI.
After rebooting I reinstalled the Orochi driver in OSX and despite the fact that it didn't register my mouse, everything worked as I had programmed it in Windows! For some reason, though, I had to move the mouse sensitivity bar in the System Preferences to someplace new for it not to be insanely sensitive, but the hardware buttons on the mouse still control the DPI settings, even in OSX.
I hereby solemnly donate this knowledge to the Internets and sincerely hope that Razer makes some better software in the future.
