I turned on "View HTML as books" in Settings. The manual says this setting "formats text to fit the width of the screen and resizes font for more comfortable reading".

When I view a HTML ebook it does not format the text. The text is tiny. When I zoom in then I have to manually scroll sideways to read.

Getting files into and out of these document viewers, editors and printers seems to be the main problem that developers are facing. Readdle offers a pretty creative workaround, as does Print and Share and Air Share Pro.

I'm tempted to get Readdle so that I can save attachments to the iDisk then pull them back into Quickoffice for editing, but I think I'll wait for the QO update which is supposed to offer this feature.

I'm just worried that Apple might give Quickofgice the runaround. Apple has an interest in getting people to sign up for MobileMe.

True, they are trying to promote MobileMe. So probably they are going to make some applications for that, but this is not a fact.

Quickoffice has MobileMe/iDisk support and it's not in direct competition, so I don't see this as an issue. Other 3rd party email and file storage apps and services would be tho.

I know, what I'm saying is that people need MobileMe to get email attachments (via Readdledocs) to QuickOffice. If QuickOffice gets access to emailed documents, then people like myself will no longer need MobileMe.

It's all quite a messy workaround, isn't it? I am interested in seeing just how QO is going to get access to the attachments. It sounds as tho it will have direct integration, but I wonder. It may be something like Print & Share that has its own mail client.

DocsToGo with Exchange edition can access Exchange email attachments directly. I don't see why they can't do the same with other clients.
