Your signature is indeed glorious 🤣

I bought a used midnight green 11pro about a month ago and I’m in freakin’ love with this design.

It’s back looks almost black in low light, and green in bright light. And the stainless steel edges look black most of the time anyway. From the front which is excellent to concentrate on the screen instead of distracted by the bezel color.

🤤 and this curved edge makes holding it so, so nice. The stainless steel isn’t at all slippery like the awful 11 aluminum was for me. I wish I had just splurged back then and got a 11pro new from reseller instead of the 11 new from Apple. I would have had two whole years of cell phone joy by now, instead of an 11 for a year (gigantic brick; blah screen), and then a 13mini since launch day which was not perfect as a small phone (too tall, and no premium stainless steel material, and had stupid huge cameras, even though the photos are noticeably better than 11pro slightly).

Okay, just appreciating the 11pro. It’s new to me. Sorry for the gushing. 😄
I hope to get used Midnight Green one day, still working or not. I'd probably fidget with it for the first week and then put it in a nice frame. It would remind me to try harder, work harder to enjoy things in life before it's too late.
Does Live Photo actually stop that terrible 13pro post processing oil painting nonsense?

(My young daughter always looks like a doll in the photos she’s in. It’s embarrassing Apple put out that software and call it “amazing”. I would never recommend it to anybody that cares about photo quality ☹️)
It really helps, but keep in mind you must make steady shots this way. 13 Pro makes either great or terrible photos. I think for the AI, the lighting is the main factor.

I'm not 100% upgrading, more like 85%. Battery life and camera along with just wanting something new. It's three years old so battery has taken a beating and three years of camera improvements would be nice. What's holding me back is I really want USB-C and the periscope tech looks to be a much bigger game changer but those are just likely rumors for next year at this point.

Does anyone know if Apple puts new seals into an iPhone after a battery upgrade, so the IP68 waterproof rating is maintained?

I keep thinking about that being a benefit to replacing the battery in my iPhone 11PM if I do so. New battery AND renewed water resistance? WIN!

Verizon is terrible these days whether on 5g or 4g. They need to fix their service pronto.

Not where I’m at. It’s been fantastic for me. I only have no service in certain buildings in my city, as no service provider work in those buildings neither.

I have 11 Pro though never considered switching to 14 Pro. It’s just a waste of money provided 15 Pro’s gonna have finally USB Type-C (new EU restrictions). Just wait some time and you get nearly perfect Iphone. Otherwise, you’re gonna get another one “Pro” Iphone with outdated slow Lightning.

I too came from 11pro to 14pro (since returned) and if the upgrade is for the camera, I can tell you to save your money as it isn't any better.

If you pixel peep you can sometimes see marginal differences, but that works both ways with the iPhone 11p sometimes being better and sometimes being worse. In 95% of cases it's exactly the same.

48mp mode is decent but that does mean shooting and editing every photo in ProRaw, or maybe via a third-party app.

Regular shooting / JPEGs are no different as Apple's photo AI still obliterates all those lovely details the sensor captures...
