On April 29 I ordered an iPad2 and yesterday, May 9, it has shipped. It seems that now is still in China.
They say that on May 13 it will be an NJ.
What are my chances?

I post this to give all you hopefuls out there an idea of the timeline with UPS. Their Asian tracking leaves a lot to be desired.....
32G White Wifi, ordered 4/25. Original ship date 5/9 with delivery 5/10. Looks like it will be right on time.

Really tough to tell until it actually starts moving thru the system. You didn't specify FedEx or UPS.
Anyway, my delay at the EPZ was mostly due to the weekend I think. Once it left there, it will be at my door within 48hrs or so. The 13th is not out of the question, in my opinion.

Looks like I'll be getting mine sometime today. I ordered it on the 23rd of April (Saturday).
Looks like once it leaves the far east, its smooth sailing. So, for anyone wondering about when theirs will arrive, don't get your hopes up until it leaves Korea. It seems to float in Asia forever until it hits US soil...

^^Absolutely correct. Mine was shipped on May 6th and it still hasn't cleared through customs according to Apple/UPS when I called them this morning after my original delivery date of yesterday came and went with no movement from China on UPS's tracking site.

So excited I finally have good news! Yes, it's true that getting outside of Asia took forever. Mine also seemed to hang in Alaska for awhile as well but this morning I awoke to all kinds of scans and now it's out for delivery today. Yay!

Look at it this way...
It's apparent that a lot of people (including myself) are or have been very impatient with their delivery...and rightly so. Especially since we have to rely on UPS. But look at it this way: Would you rather wait a week or two for something you are guaranteed to have or spend roughly the same amount of time going through the spirit-crushing task of calling area stores/making early morning visits to find an arrogant ****** smugly tell you that they are sold out? I went through that process for the first two weeks of availability and got so frustrated that I didn't want the iPad 2 at all. A few weeks ago, temptation was too much and I started looking again. Finally I said f this and ordered it online. While I paid more attention to the delivery process these past two weeks more than anything else, getting aggravated in the meantime, it will finally arrive today.
What I'm getting at is relax...it will arrive shortly. A bird in the hand is worth two in the bush...especially when that bush is a doucher who smiles at you when he tells you they've sold out because he grabbed the last two off the palate for himself...

Mine is also in China for 2 days already. I called UPS and they said is clearing customs in China. They also assured me that the delivery is going to be made in due time, May 13.
That's odd - it seems like most peoples orders go from Chengdu China to Chek Lap Kok Hong Kong and then possibly to Korea.
My order (which side note, was tracked through the much more up to date Yahoo tracker, thanks for the link!) went from Chengdu China to Shanghai China to Louisville KY. Odd? I just ordered standard shipping (though on the yahoo tracker it says express - I am not sure if that's standard or if something was upgraded?)

Placed my order for the white 32 GB AT&T yesterday (5/9) via AT&T ~ got the email today that my order is in for processing w/ order #. It's "in progress", which basically means not yet shipped as of right now.
Mine arrived at 10:30am CST. I placed the order Saturday, 23 April and it arrived today (10 May)...12 business days, just over two weeks. My original arrival dated was scheduled for the 11th of May but it came a day early.

On 5/9 the order status changed from not yet shipped to prepared for shipment. It remained like that until today about noon when I finally received a shipment notice from apple whith a FEDEX tracking # which has an estimated delivery of 5/17. However, apple's site still estimates the delivery for 5/13. I don't know what to think at this point. This is what I got from FEDEX.
