There's definitely a lip. It's a make or break feature - some people hate it. Me, I love it since it offers some protection without adding bulk.

There's definitely a lip but it's barely there. I put a Tech 21 Impact Shield screen protector and the screen protector is higher than the lip.
Thanks for the responses guys. The fact that your screen protector ended up higher than the lip isn't reassuring. I'll stick with the Apple silicon case on the way to me, will see how that goes. Hopefully there'll be a few more good ones produced over the next few months or so. Or maybe the Grove ones will finally be in production.

this is the best by far. i got the white on my gold 6+

poetic atmosphere

How long have you had the case? I have the clear case with white bands for my iPhone 6 and I am really disappointed. The white bands are getting really discolored from my jeans and pants and there is so much debris caught between the phone and the case. I've never had this issue before.

i noticed this too but for work i don't wear jeans but this past weekend i wore a pair of blue jeans and it turned the white partially blue which upset me, i tried to clean it and it came somewhat off but i love the case so much i just ordered 2 more(9.99) on eBay so once one becomes totally discolored ill throw it away

as for dirt i used compressed air and electronics wipes everyday if not every other day on my phone, weird i know but i can't stand a dirty phone and when i see people with those dusty dirty things(especially in otter box cases) i want to puke

Thanks for the reply.

The case has pros going for it. It looks great when it is clean and unlike lots of new cases, this one covers all corners and sides of the phone, including the bottom.

Don't you think it ends up being a poor value if you need to purchase 3 of the cases and also having to clean it each day? I took the case off this afternoon and gave the phone and case a cleaning to get rid of the accumulated dust. I worry if I do that every few days the case is going to stretch or crack. How's your case holding up after removing it each day?

its not really loose at all. the cleaning everyday is a norm for me because i do construction to the amount of airborne particles and dust I'm around everyday isn't your normal run of the mill thing. if you aren't around as much dust as me i think cleaning once a week would be fine

Which one would you say it will offer a better drop protection.. Ringke fusion or spigen ultra hybrid?
Thnx

The UAG would more protective u can just by looking at the design it more robust and its military certified, don't know about the others though. Here is mine

Let's try this a gain here is my 6+ UAG maverick

most of the transparent cases in the market are slippery any recommendation for a much more grip as well as durable?

I tried lot of clear cases, case-mate naked tough I like mosted so far.

It feels similar to air jacket in hand, a little bit wider, but this adds lot more drop protection, lip is almost flush with glass screen protector on. easy on/off you don't need to worry about scratch your phone, and buttons are extremely easy to press, same as naked.

it does attract finger prints and light scratches, I think all glossy finish cases are same.

I've had a couple of transparent TPU cases (it's my favorite kind of case). My #1 choice is the Crystal Clear Revealer by Totallee and by #2 (a close second) is the Fusion by Ringke.

Both add a little grip and have lasted me a long time. They are both very affordable and way under $20, so you'll get a good deal on either.

If you are going for something much more rugged and grippy, the Maverick by UAG might work, but it's a bit bulky for my taste.

has anyone used this case? I used the same for 5s. and it was reliable. it served me well so i am just wandering should i go for the same one for my 6+ gold or some other.

ordered this from amazon a few days ago. i'll report back when i get it. I like the look ( i ordered the gun metal grey with the clear back ) and it seems to have good lip/ wrap around protection and good drop protection. I youtubed some reviews and many seem to like it. The amazon reviews are very good too

Wow that's another feature :p lol will report back on Thursday as it will deliver that day.

I really like Spigen cases. I'm currently using their Ultra Hybrid case and love it. Gripping sides, smooth back, clear.

Spigen has a lot of cases, which one are you referring to? None of them have an Apple logo, some have a cutout for the logo on the back.

No kidding, absolutely ZERO drop protection but feels great in the hand.

Just to confirm, the phone won't lay down flush with that Spigen case, correct? The camera will still protrude out a couple mm?
