Very well, which is a shame, because I want it to age a bit faster. I love the aged leather look of my iPhone back cover. I guess I handled the phone more than I do the iPad.

But there is a subtle sign of darkening, so there is hope.

Pics of the slight darkening? Brown is my choice if I do get one curious how it ages

I have the brown/tan one and after a month of daily use, it still looks and smells new. The classic leather scent is still evident and the inside where the iPad is cradled smells like new car smell! I love it and am glad I got it.

I always carry the iPad in my MobileEdge Slipsuit that I originally bought for my 17" MBP. So maybe this helps to keep it clean. And of course clean hands are a no brainer.

Sorta wild how many people think Apple's cases darken due to poor quality. It's darkening because it is leather. Even the most trusted and pricey leathers darken with prolonged contact. There's plenty of old Louis Vuitton bags with the handles shaded due to use.
