I got off the phone just before 12:00 pm.

They're going to express ship it to me.

Now that I think of it, I should have tried to get iWork tossed in just for having to put up with their hold music for so long.

lol nice...it was free correct? i called apple and talked them into upgrading me to a wireless mouse! LOL and i got 2 day shipping..im exicted...now if it doesnt ship by the 27th-29th...ill call them again and better get something

Well, I think you did well by getting a new iLife from them.

When I bought my PowerBook, I was able to get a copy of Leopard even though the website still had Jaguar on it. It never hurts to ask... Apple is really pretty cool about this kind of stuff. The SW really doesn't cost them anything to ship out another copy to keep a customer happy. And it helps get more users on the current version and hopefully breed some word of mouth advertising...

Oops. I get those names confused all the time. The system had 10.2 on it and I got them to ship me 10.3. Later on, I won a copy of 10.4 at an Apple Users Group meeting. And for 10.5, I'm buying a new machine. The last OS I paid for was 10.2 for my old iMac.

I was thinking on buying that exact one:
17", core 2 duo, superdrive, Ati X1600 and iLive08, right?
for 850$ it's an unbeatable price! . . . Guess I waited too long there are no more left. I will try to get one maybe after Leopard comes out.

I dunno. Check early mornings to see if they pop up.

They do tend to sell out quite quickly.

I've finally gotten over the buyers remorse thing and just started enjoying it.
