Release date of Smart Case for 10.5 iPad Pro

The leather sleeve and leather Smart Cover go really well together. The silicone Smart Cover snags in there and is more difficult to get out - I don't think a silicone back cover would work well with it.

And I think a leather back cover would be a little too big for it.

I really think the leather sleeve/Smart Cover is what they have in mind for the iPad, so I don't think a back cover will be coming out.

What I find strange and amusing is we have all these people complaining that Apple didn't make the rear cover for the new iPads discussed over several threads in these forums. The obvious implication here is that the same people wanted to buy an Apple-made cover (always pricey), but now have to resort to third party solutions. And yet, if you look in these threads discussing alternatives, 9 out of 10 people are looking for "cheap" covers where they "don't want to spend too much"

This is why I didn't balk too much at getting the Tech21--would have paid roughly the same for the Apple brand cover.

I got 4 from AliExpress. It even got the Apple Logo on the back
