If they can make it work with TextNow? Maybe. Will do? Most like no. I believe it would be extremely difficult to code something like this since TextNow uses Push Notifications and a entirely different code set!
 
I'm pretty sure an update to irealquicksms is coming but nobody knows when. I only use irealquicksms as well so I'm anxiously awaiting an update.
 
i will look into this, and see if its worth it to get. I use quickreply for SMS currently, and i think thats fairly good for my needs.

It has a 10 day trial, so give it a chance.
You might find you cant go back to the old app your using now after a week of this. :)
 
from my little bit a research, people have said that irealsms usually adds the features first, and the others copy. I also don't like the pink send button thats inside of bitesms.

I will do a little more research, and probably try the 10 day trial
 
if this could do MMS animations properly ( not breaking the image and audio into different sections like apples app does) i would probably buy this.

Haha, the pink send buttons are more than enough of a reason for me to ignore bitesms!

I'm all ready to buy this but one question:

Will it import all my existing conversations or will I lose those?
 
Has anyone tried it? I have been waiting for the update to come out and just downloaded it. It replaced my old version of the prog, but when I try to launch it it just crashes...

If your trying to run the trial it requires you to have an internet connection to download the trial license... without one it wont work..

or if you have a previous beta version installed you must uninstall it.
then remove the beta repo
then install the official version from the bigboss repo
 
I have been using this since an early beta. The best thing, that sets it apart from BiteSMS, is the ability to send MMS from QuickSend and QuickReply. Everything has been super steady for me as far as performance. Thanks for the great app.
 
So far so good!

I've used iRealQuickSMS and even purchased it because it works really well. Now I'm checking out the trial of iRealSMS and it has worked very well. It took me a minute to figure out how to pull up the keyboard when someone sent me a text and I was viewing it from the lockscreen. The auto hide keyboard lockscreen feature was turned on so I kept tapping on the text till the reply block opened and keyboard showed up. I think I'll be purchasing this evening since it's probably the most used app I have.:)
 
I just got the trial and I like it except one rather annoying thing.

When I view a list of all the different conversations, there is a 3 second delay before the contact pictures show up. If I scroll away and scroll back the delay comes again. Is this a bug or what?
 
So, is this worth $15? How much memory does the app use when running in background?

Its not a bug. Its a current limitation.. and its not a delay your experiencing... it actually wont load the picture until the list stops scrolling. To speed up performance the contact pictures are not left in cache memory so when you scroll them off the screen they are cleared from memory and have to load again.. we attempted to leave them loaded in memory when in an early beta and it made scrolling the convo list very sluggish and lagged... so that was a sacrifice we made for performance.

In the next update we will see if we can load the pictures better and faster, but in the meantime this is the best we could offer.
