iPhone 15 Pro Max, iOS 17.2, Bold Text enabled. Medium sized reminder widget. All I see are the placeholder lines and icon dot in the widget.
Force press does NOT give me the option to 'Edit Widget' (sometimes says "Edit "Reminders" ?!)
Turned off Bold Text - didn't help.
Hard reset phone (press & release vol up, press & release vol down, press and hold side button until screen goes blank)
After booting, I see reminders! I force press the widget and I now have the 'Edit Widget' (or Edit "Reminders") option! Absolutely works now.
I go back and turn on Bold Text, pop back to the widget and I'm pretty sure it was showing me the widget with bold text for a good second -- then right before my eyes it reverted to the old behavior of the gray lines and placeholder blue icon dot. Turned off Bold Text and now it's working again -- did not have to hard reset this time.
Turned on Bold Text again and went back to my home screen. Widget still works and I can see the reminders in Bold Text! However, if I force press on the widget, select '"Edit "Reminders"', tapping on the existing list ("Today" in the screenshot below) doesn't bring up the list of lists anymore! Tried and tried. The moment I turn off Bold Text I can go back and now I can bring up the list again.
For now, I'm leaving Bold Text on and will see if it continues to work. The only downside is if i want to change which list is displayed I'll have to remember to go turn off Bold Text otherwise tapping the existing list name to bring up the list of lists doesn't work:
Bizarre, Apple, just bizarre.
