Does anyone experience a bug on iOS15 and iPadOS 15 where you are asked to enter your Exchange account password almost daily? It started for me around iOS RC and is still happening in the released version?

I can confirm this is happening to me on my iPhone 11 Pro Max and 2018 iPad Pro 11 since going iOS 15, and to a friend who just got their iPhone 13 pro (upgraded from iPhone 7 on iOS 14.7.1)…

iOS 15.0.1 still doing it, and yes it’s very annoying…

Having this issue on my 12Pro and iPad Pro. This started right after I installed 15 on both. 15.0.1 has not helped. Done several hard reboots and no change. I have also deleted the Exchange account from both devices and changed my password on my work computer then reinstalled on both devices. The issue remains.

Wondering if the issue is only happening to folks with Exchange on both an iPhone and an iPad at the same time? Friend of mine just received his iphone 13Pro last week and is not having this issue.

Is anyone having this issue with Exchange only installed on one device?

Nevermind. My friend's 13Pro started this yesterday.

Had the issue on my 12PM.
A hard reboot has fixed it for me. 🤞
Unfortunately this did not correct the problem; hard reset my iPhone and iPad as per Apple KB article, within 24 hours it asked me for the credentials again…

Looks like we need to wait for a point release to fix this, which I hope is soon because it’s driving me mental!

Does Apple even know about this? Where can I report this? Usually I use the 'Feedback' app on my beta versions of the iOS/iPadOS/MacOS but now that I am running official versions I don't have it!

I already submitted the feedback to Apple, and also opened a thread on the official Apple forums, we’ll see how quickly it gets fixed…

Me too. For me, the annual MS exchange password update happened about 30 days before. Does not appear related. So my attempts were: 1)Reboot -did not fix, 2) enter when requested, 3) Go to Settings/password and enter updated password, 4) Settings/mail//accounts/MS exchange account/account / then update password. Nothing is working to stop the repeated requests. Bleeping computers. Current IOS verso is 15.0.1 😞

I posted this then read the reply immediately above mine. The fourth suggestion sounds like what I am suggesting here. That did solve the issue for me, so I still suggest giving it a try.

I had this problem and fixed it as follows. No guarantees but very low effort/low impact. Instead of entering credentials in the popup dialog box, press 'cancel' and go to Settings>Mail>Accounts and enter your credentials in the appropriate account section.

Nothing so far has worked for me either. This issue continues on my 12 Pro and iPad Pro. Crossing my fingers that the 15.0.2 corrects this issue. I updated both devises 15 hours ago so time will tell.

I did try this with no luck. It was almost impossible to perform as the dialog box continuously kept popping up while trying to get to the account setting to enter the password.

No change with 15.0.2. Issue remains. With my devises anyway.

Can confirm after 24 hours on iOS 15.0.2, the problem reoccured on my devices, so still not fixed.

I tried deleting the account and recreate it all over again with no luck.. irritating issue for everyone at the office with iOS 15

This is also a problem on Mac OS. It may be caused by duplicate tokens in the keychain. You can fix it on the Mac by going into Keychain Access, searching for "exchange", and deleting all tokens that turn up. You'll be prompted again but once you enter your credentials the thing should shut up.

But on iOS I have no idea how you're supposed to resolve this. It's a glaring defect that should have been fixed in the last update. It has been around for quite a while.

I'm thinking the answer is "not everyone" but who among the affected has iCloud Keychain "ON"?
