Since it's been a while, I'll add my usual note:

If anyone finds they're at the point of having to reluctantly abandon PV because of the problems they now face after an OS upgrade, I figured I'd take the opportunity to mention, again, that if anyone on this trail still has a working hardware/version 6 license set up that they'd be interested in selling, I'm always still on the look out for them.

Nothing to sell, but figured I would post... Im still using Phone Valet with MacOS 10.7.5 Works flawlessly for now. I see where others have upgraded, not doing that just yet.
Im also on the look out for hardware if anyone is selling. Im sure there is working hardware out there in a parts box on a shelf somewhere.

BUG: I did notice an issue with reading from iCal after upgrading to MacOS 10.7. Phonevalet no longer can access calendar using applesript. Anyone figure out a fix for this?

Hello, I'm back from a 2 year absence. PV has worked perfectly for all that time, but about 5 days ago, it stopped sending me an email to my .mac account. Nothing has changed at all. As previously said I have had to use an AOL account to send the emails to my .mac account. Now, no matter what I have done and redone, I can't get my emails sent to me from PV. Using and older mac mini, that has worked for years. Any ideas? What if I downloaded the software once again? Any help? Please. I'm so frustrated. What could possibly be the problem? Thanks for any suggestions. So appreciate it.

Hello, yes, after a 2 year absence, here, too. PV has continued to work well for me (on an old MacPro running macOS Yosemite 10.10.5) and I'd frankly be lost without it. I still think it's the most brilliantly designed, most valuable piece of software/hardware I own. But I've also experienced the same thing - it stops sending emails and/or texts when vm messages are received - something I also depend upon greatly. Most of the time a restart of the Mac will solve the problem (I'll do a restart and watch how PV loads and do some tests to make sure it's sending emails/texts - sometimes it does and sometimes it requires more than one restart). But one time when it seemed like restarts were not fixing it any longer, I also noticed the option [in the voicemail preference tab] where you have the option to have PV call you and play the vm messages over the phone so I selected that option, too. It's a little more annoying than getting the email but it gives you another option (and the announcement and options you get during the call are GREAT) and it's VERY FAST, the call comes in immediately where the emails used to be delayed up to 30 minutes. I've attached a screenshot of the settings in case you're still using PV and in case this info is useful.

Hi
We have been using VP since it first came out and it is an invaluable part of our business model. Im tired of dealing with companies that want to take control and force us into the cloud. AT&T is our phone company and ever since they moved to Yahoo as their email server we have been having issues eveytime they update anything, and I mean anything. I talked to the developer of VP several weeks ago and he, and the lead programmer both said we need to find someone who understands the legacy issue with Yahoo and single verification aps. since the OS compatible with VP doesn't support newer dual verification capability our emails and sms messages will not forward. Our company has been missing all of our emergency phone calls and our clients are not happy as a result. We had a tech who could bypass the dual verification issue, but he has since retired and we can't find anyone in New Orleans who understands AT&T, Bellsouth--Google E mail relationship to get us up and running again.
This is really a shame since this is such a great application running in the in house analog world
If there is anyone out there that can help us, we will pay for your expertise and your knowledge.
