Which Apple retail store did that?!?I dropped my mac off for repair, 'with' an appointment, I waited a day for their call back, using 2 x senior managers @ applecare as advocates...I finally got a call back, not as i was told, "To discuss my options"
In the US, you call the 1-800 support number and they arrange the repair through overnight shipping. Not sure how it works in Canada.What if you dont have a genius bar around you?
