Requested Ipad

Hey, I recently reserved my 64gb wifi ipad at the Indianapolis apple store this saturday. They said that they would have a shipment on monday and now that its tuesday.. still no email notification. Should i suspect a long reserve list that i am at the bottom of? Or how does it work?

Smarterchild, I reserved a 32gb at the keystone store on saturday as well and still haven't gotten an email ..I've been calling the store as a backup everyday since last wednesday as well as the 3 best buys in the area, no dice.. I ended up ordering one from macmall today, with 2nd day shipping they told me it should be here by thurs/fri..you might want to check that out

Within a week seems to be normal time for the people that have been doing the in store reservations. Mine took about 4 full days.

Same I just got mine today as well. My best advice to anyone who is waiting on theirs is to stay away from this site, it'll drive you insane.

Really? I got my email this morning from them, but I ordered my ipad from macmall yesterday and it's already been shipped..so my reservations gonna go to waste i guess :/

I wish it will come... I reserved it 4 days ago (saturday). Im a highschool student and currently in school. I am unable to check my mail. but im able to get on macrumors and nikon rumors in the mean time

Is it possible to place a reservation online or over the phone? I don't trust the shipping guys in my area but the Oakbrook, IL store is a good hour away and it's the closest one. (Actually the Michigan Ave store is closest by a few miles but traffic and Chicago roads make it harder to get to and parking will probably run me an extra $40.) If not I'll make the drive up tomorrow and place my reservation. Too tired to go today, not enough sleep, and I have no intention of taking I-80/94's construction-heavy roads with hundreds of semis on little sleep.

whats with apple? im stil waiting for my notifcation.. so i called about twenty mins ago and found out they have the one i reserved IN STOCK. And i am unable to reserve one again for a few hours till i can get it. how did everyone discover about their ipad? I used my hotmail account. and ive been checking ever since.
