Right now Shortcuts app doesn't provide action to Get Text from Clipboard. that would be quite useful. The way it is now, you have to trigger this Shortcut using the Share Sheet from within another app, which is okay but Getting the text from clipboard will be useful in some situations.
Also, I think Apple should rename Copy under the Share Sheet to Copy without formatting to make it clear to the user.

Another solution:
I created a shortcut with the Shortcuts app with two actions:
I called it Copy Plain Text and saved it to my share sheet. What’s great is that it can get text from anything including formatted text but also file names of selected files etc.
