So, I walked by the Chicago Apple Store tonite...

And noticed they got the new 24" iMacs in earlier than expected....

does anyone know how the whole "store purchase" thing works? Can I still have them modify it (like the normal HDD and Graphics card upgrades) AT the store?

Or will they still just custom order them from the same locale as the Apple website?

Thanks!

They might have a few pre-selected "custom configuration" models in-store, but they'll almost certainly direct you to one of their demo computers and have you custom-configure one there. It's just like you ordered online from home, but a rep will walk you through and answer any questions you have along the way.
