I went to New York in the middle of April (I'm Norwegian) and got some pretty awesome photos of this lovely city (and a 3. gen iPad), thought I should share;

Beautiful HDR pics. Very nice. But they don't seem to be 2048x2048. Anybody else seeing the same or am I doing something wrong?

could anyone help resize?

Any chance someone might be able to increase the size of these photographs so it fits the 2048 x 2048 needed? Thanks in advance. Would really appreciate it!
If they are too small, I apologize but I tried to get the biggest ones I could find

Can someone please make this picture the proper size and resolution for the iPad 3??

I was bored and thought I would see what I could do with the Man of Steel logo. Ended up having to redo most of the image, but I think it turned out okay. Hope you like it.

awesome collection! Will check it out once get home! Thanks to all contributors!

wow you did this?? damn! wish i could do something like this!

Well, he asked if someone could turn the recently announced Man of Steel logo into a retina wallpaper. Sadly, no high res images of it exist yet that I could find. That pretty much only leaves the option to redo the image using the original below as a source.

any chance of a step by step guide on how you did it? :)

The short version:

Cut out and isolate the logo from the background and repair it's resolution.

Locate a suitable background and modify it to suit your needs.

Finish repairing the logo and adjust it's colors/lighting.

Layer the two elements together.

Refine adjustments to lighting/coloring.

Locate the font used, duplicate the text and add effects to match the style.

Add shadows and further refinements to the lighting as well as light points on the text.

Done. :)

Yup, you are right. There is most definitely not a a 7UP or Sprite high resolution wallpaper out there. lol

I know a lot of people think they are similar, but I can't stand Sprite for some reason. So, I made you a 7UP one that turned out pretty damn good if I do say so myself. (Using it on my own iPad now at the moment.)

Enjoy! :)

Yes i did, with the new iPad. ( its the Detroit Tigers by the way Lol)

That was taken by the new iPad? Wow. I have a new iPad, but haven't messed with the camera. It does better than I thought it would.

And yes, I should have known. LOL. I saw the "Detroit" in the background and a cat, and the lions was my first thought. I definitely don't follow anything from Detroit (including the cars). ;)

Someone should make some Game of Thrones iPad 3 wallpapers. Or if anyone knows where some good ones are please let me know :)
