This thread is so odd to me. Not in a sense that I think it's wrong or anything, I'm in no way judging. It's just why would you spend an extra couple hundred books for it to look cleaner? It's a machine. I have several computers, none of them are particularly clean, they all look as old as they are. But they run really, really well; I'd rather spend $200 upping RAM or getting a new graphics card or something that would, you know, make my computers better. Maybe it's just me.

Many people buy Macs just because they like the design. If the computer discolors after two weeks, this reason to buy is much less attractive.

And in on the web site, where they were talking about the problem, they stated that they were unable to remove the discolored spots even with various cleaning agents. If that is true, it really seems to be a problem of the material.
