By doing so also gives you an additional 14 days to actually return it and as long as Apple receives it by 10/19/18 you are set.

Edit: That is if you send it via Fedex and directly to the Apple Store.

So I can just click that I want to return it and then decide within the next 14 days? Or will they sent UPS to pick it up?

No problems here either :) I’ll be keeping mine 100%. Best mobile phone I’ve ever had to date.

I was going back and forth regarding the size. I think I like the 5.8 better, but I am going to roll with the 6.5 for this year and see if Apple introduces any software features specific to the larger phones. I am a bit disappointed that they don't do anything different with so much screen space. No problems with my Max though.

You can click on the return button and it gives you additional 14 days from that date you click on it. Also they provide you the Fedex shipping label, which you can have it scheduled for pick up or take it to your nearest Fedex drop off center.

If you’re having no problems, why are you commenting?

It’s a tough decision. FaceID sucks compared to TouchID for my uses. This Xs Max is slower than my 8+ for everything that involves the internet, on 5ghz-wifi and LTE. The slightly bigger screen is neat, but I really really hate the network issues and the screen still isn’t usefully bigger. The cpu/gpu speed bump is unnoticeable coming from an 8+.
If you hate it as you state, return it. No body is telling you to keep it. If those things are really bothersome, my recommendation is return it and move on, instead of wasting time and energy on something you are not liking.

Already returned first one so I have another week. Terrible WiFi performance and in contact with Apple about it. I have no idea what to do because, after iOS 11, I have no confidence they’ll fix issues in a timely manner.

For all the posters here that chimed in to say this thread was stupid or that you don't have issues: good for you. Seriously, I'm glad you aren't deal with this stuff because lots of people ARE having them and this thread is explicitly for those people.
Return it and be done, you clearly don’t like it and the problems you are having.

Very slight issue with the back glass not level with the steel band all down on one side so it’s not as smooth as it should be when holding it, but not going to bother returning as it’s in a case most the time anyway.

I had the XS Max 256 gb that I returned yesterday and reordered, I got the Bluetooth to finally work but the cellular just wouldn't work properly, every time I went to make a call it would always use 3G not LTE although it did show LTE on the phone until I made the phone call, swapped out the sim card, reset all network settings etc. troubleshoot with Apple Support they said to return the phone and reorder.

I also had the charging issue but I know that is getting fixed with the software upgrade but with the cell issue it may or may not get fixed with software so that is why I returned mine.

I have the wifi problem (connects to the 2.4Ghz) but in real-life testing, it's still the best phone I've had. So keeping mine and hoping a solution down the road.

This is such a crappy attitude.

Anyone who went through the trouble of buying this phone and posting on this site obviously wants to love the phone. That's what makes it so frustrating when things interfere with its potential. People still hope that things will get fixed and the phone will be what they hoped it would be. It's okay for them to express their disappointment in the meantime.

If nobody talked about their problems then they wouldn't get addressed. I don't understand why people have to pretend that the phone is perfect just to satisfy their own investment. Be thankful you're having a great experience and maybe have a little bit of empathy for those who are not.

You seem like an awesome person to be around. Super-cool and such.

Not saying it is perfect, because it is not. But making big statements about how they don’t like it solves nothing. I am not having a perfect experience, but if I was as unhappy as people on here sound. I would not be posting here, I would be seeking help from Apple or returning it. That was all that was meant.

I am sorry you feel my attitude is crappy, but honestly, I have learned from my experience on here, that people have little patience for people’s complaints. I just don’t see the point of holding on to something you are clearly unhappy with. Life’s too short to spend time complaining about a phone you apparently don’t like. I had a few problems when I got my Xs max, but I called Apple and they helped me. Had they not been able to, I would have just returned it and been done.

I’m keeping my Max. No issues so far other than screen time sucking up a lot of battery. Cell network reception is mixed but generally better than my AT&T X.

My girlfriends XS however has had cell problems. We went to the apple store today and they exchanged it for a new one even though it’s outside the 14 window.
They even replaced the screen protector for free.

They said they were collecting problem units to send back to engineering. There were two other people exchanging phones as well.

The new phone seems fine so far. I wonder if there was a bad batch of them.

I returned my XS on Thursday. The animation stutter issue was unacceptable, considering my X is still perfectly smooth. Decided it’s not worth it to pay $1,000 for an upgraded camera and speakers, but downgraded iOS experience.

Might repurchase if they get everything smoothed out.

Anybody know who to return if bought on the upgrade programme (UK)?

I’m still on the fence but cannot see an option to return.

Option with order on line?
Basically return, then the loan is closed and payment refunded.
