They were 4 different RevB SSDs, weeks 43,44,44,49
No hassle at all as Apple Store took them all back with a full refund.
How do you tell which build week you have?
It's coded in the serial number, thusly:
Notes: Serial number W8640.......
-> W8 = Country code for manufacture (happens to be China)
-> 6 = last digit of year (2006)
-> 40 = week of manufacture => Octoberish
So my reburb is YD913******
So does that mean
-YD = which country?
-9 = 2009
-13 = week of March 22.
Not sure. Apparently, Apple alters both the serial and model number for refurbished items:
