My Mophie stopped working after I updated to ios 5.1. It now says "charging not supported with this accessory". Prior to that it was great, except I had to remove the top and pull the phone out a little in order to take decent pictures, otherwise there would be a white haze from the flash. Hopefully next iOS uodate be compatible with Mophie.

I am having the same problem. The Mophie is not supported.

I am noticing that my phone is not recharging like it used to. My Mophie is about a year old. When I am down to 24% and turn it on, it only recharges up to around 60%. Is this normal? What is the life expectancy of a Mophie.

Just traded in my Air for the Plus. Much better. The sleep and volume buttons are much nicer and the texture on the case makes it easier to hold than the Air. I also got a complete recharge out of the Plus. Usually got about 70-80% out of the Air.

Strange: I usually start my mophie (Juice pack air) when iPhone battery is 20 or 10%. Then it recharges for 2 hours (!), then I'm 100% again and mophie is still displaying 1 of 4 lights for available battery!! (and then I can recharge sthg like 25%) Maybe my 4S battery is already weak? (with average usage, iPhone is up to 12 to 16 hours.)

!! but be aware that there are lot of fake mophies on the market !! At some Amazon market place retailers for ex.! Maybe some of you have counter fake mophies with low-cost batteries.

+ notice that charging the mophie battery completely is extremely slow (about 5 hours with a 10W 2.1A iPad charger!!)

I even should only charge it for 1 hour fox ex, up to sthg around 90%, to keep sthg like half of the mophie battery, and be able to refill it at 80-90% again, according to mophie's FAQ :

"What is the best method for charging my iPhone using the juice pack?
Assuming the iPhone and juice pack are both fully charged, we recommend waiting until your iPhone has 20% battery left. When you’re in the red, flip the standby switch to green and let the juice pack to do the heavy lifting. The iPhone requires more power to charge past 80%, so if you want to get the greatest battery boost from the juice pack, we suggest flipping back to standby mode until your phone battery is low again. This isn’t the end-all-be-all, but we like it. "
