Satechi make some very nice stuff but that price just feels like "Apple fans will pay this much for anything". I know that's how pricing works, but still. That reminds me I need a new polishing cloth BRB.
The problem is precisely this: a little aluminum and a little copper wire have negligible costs at the industrial level, it is likely that the packaging and shipping cost more than the product itself.
Therefore, the choice of a ‘high’ price is a precise commercial strategy because those who spend 1000 dollars and more will have no problem spending 130 dollars for a charger.

Oops, I made a mistake because the power supply is not included, so you have to buy it separately.
So, in conclusion, $130 and you don’t even have the power supply...Seriously!?! Are we kidding?
Okay, if you’re wealthy and have plenty of money, you probably won’t have any problem buying 10 pieces of this product, just as you won’t have any issues purchasing 10 plain white cotton T-shirts with the Gucci logo for $1000 each. However, if you value money appropriately and your salary is average, then I believe it’s reasonable to consider this a costly product. In my humble opinion (IMHO)

Really is crazy to me how many of these there are. I'll weigh in though: I think the Belkin 3-in-1 is the best (even v. Twelve South whose products I like) but also overpriced. I was able to get 2 on Amazon from Amazon Warehouse, brand new for $89 each:

I have one of these too that I got for about $100 from Belkin back in October during some promo. Like you, I think its MSRP is way overpriced but if I was to drop $130 on a 3-in-1, I’m going Belkin over Satechi. 6 months in, I like this a lot. It replaced a Twelve South I had for forever and loved but I wanted fast-charging across the board.

It doesn’t fold, but I have a different setup for travel, personally, because these types of stands are just too heavy (if they are nice) to carry around, even if they can. I’d much rather get a charging pad for two items for travel.

My 14Pro battery has 83% maximum capacity. I suspect this MagSafe fast charging has something to do with it.

Looks nice for sure. But that price... ooof.

I've been using this aluminum 3-in-one for a year or a little longer. It does the job, looks nice, and is $33 with a $5 off coupon (currently) - so $26. It's not foldable, though, which does look handy.

I also do not use wireless charging, but either way this is one of the nicer looking stands, just expensive!

Why would they include something most people already have?
Most people have little 5W power adapters. Some people that purchased iPads in the past (which is certainly not most people) might have 10W, 12W, 18W, or 20W power adapters. I highly doubt a significant percent of people have a spare 30W power adapter laying around, which is what you need for this thing.

Why would they include something most people already have?

As a long-time iPhone user, I have about ten 5watt chargers. Please explain how I can charge 3 devices simultaneously before Christmas.

For just $130 why would they ever include a power supply, they can further fleece customers by selling it separately!
ah I forgot that years ago I bought a multiple charging dock for iPod and at the time the power supply was supplied, together with a set of electrical socket for each nation.
How times have changed, with the excuse of the green they try to increase profits to the detriment of the usability of the product.

The $129 3-in-1 includes a 45W power adapter and travel adapters. Seems like the item is out of stock for those interested though....

MagSafe is fine for iPhone and Watch, but I keep my AirPods case in a case, and every stand I've tried is unreliable charging it.

The Watch doesn't necessitate a case, and iPhone MagSafe cases (and many non-Magsafe cases even) have a pretty strong magnetic attachment. But AirPod cases are a whole other story, and I'm NOT using my AirPods case naked nor taking it out when charging.

I'd rather plug the case as needed.

So this stand seems like a no-go for me, never-minding the cost.

So, I bought the 3-in-1 and tested it charging an iPhone 14 Pro, Apple Watch SE, and Airpods 2nd Gen wireless charging case at the same time.

Using the included 45w power brick plugged into the 3-in-1, all 3 devices became extremely hot after 30 minutes. Like, scary hot and would probably damage them.

I tried swapping the power brick for Anker 20w single port USB-C power brick from a couple years back, and now when I charge all 3 devices simultaneously they only become warm like normal and charge without issue. So I'm keeping it.

Interesting. Wonder why it would get so hot with the 45w? The Anker 20w defeats the purpose of fast charging the phone and watch at the same time though right?

How do you like weight, quality and how it folds up for travel?

I was looking at this and the Bare Cases Nexus 3/1 charger. Only the Bare does not fast charge the AW Ultra I think.

That’s not good. I don’t think a 20 w charger can provide sufficient power for MagSafe 15w charging of iPhone with another device. It’s just acting like a slow charger then.

Did you reach out to company? What did they say? One wonders if perhaps there might be an issue and that’s why not in stock …

Bought when Satechi ran their last sale, now waiting for the new variant dropped yesterday to be offered similarly as this design looks better than gen 1 IMO.

Comes with a 45W USB-C charger
Wish it came with a GaN charger though. Not sure why these companies that charge so much supply such larger chargers. Guess it is to make it international, but I like the smallest charger possible when traveling.
