I'm liking it more than I thought I would.

Windows is bringing Direct X to the Linux subsystem so you will be able to run GPU accelerated Linux apps on Windows 10

I see you're running SeaMonkey. Nice. I haven't used that one in some time.

I don't understand why people post pictures of their "desktops" cluttered with terminal windows or text-based music players. It's not a desktop to me. (Not trolling. Genuinely curious.)

People enjoy showing off the themes and customization they've done to their systems which make them unique from the normie 'puters out there.

Here is a little script to show weather radar in the terminal. It's something I've wanted for some time to compliment wttr.in.
Code:
#!/bin/sh

mpv --loop-file=inf "https://radar.weather.gov/lite/N0R/DTX_loop.gif" --stream-buffer-size=2m

Just change the city code (DTX) to whichever city you want.

I also set it to a key binding so I can quickly get the weather picture when I want it.

At the moment I'm using the default i3 status bar, but for a while I was using Polybar and I want to get back to it soon. I just need to learn the config better.
Finally getting back to messing with Polybar. Am having a bit of trouble getting mpd to work with it though. Still a work in progress and I want to make some adjustments to the monitor settings for which I have two.

Not much, but I changed the time format for the clock in the menu bar and I changed the desktop background (will post a screenshot without neofetch in the monthly desktop thread eventually). This is just a VM I made so I am able to work directly in a Linux environment on my Windows 10 machine when WSL isn't enough. :)

I have more that I'm planning to do, I'll post them as I make the customizations.
