In this case, the OP didn't ask any question, let alone a basic one. Otherwise, I'm sure they would have received a better response.
I agree. I think he was probably talking about me with his "don't treat switchers that way" blah blah blah.
There are two things that annoy the hell out of me on this board.
1. the same old run down questions that have been asked in 40 different posts (ie. Gloss or Matte). SEARCH! Please!
2. the apparent purchase of a Mac, because it is the cool thing to have, and then complain that it does not behave like a PC.
Don't buy an iPod because it is cool and then complain that it does not work like the Zune. Don't buy a Mac because it is the cool thing to have and then complain that it does not work like a PC.
Do some research and buy what fits your needs. If you don't like how the Mac works, because you are used to something else, then buy what you want, even if it is a PC.
I try to switch everyone who asks me, but I am not going to go crazy if someone buys a PC if they just don't like what the Mac is about. That is the key. Find out what the Mac is about before you buy it. Then you won't have to complain about its functionality.
