Sustained. truthsteve, you must offer evidence or you can’t make the assertion.
Simple math: you can do 4 years at 10 and 4 years at 15 and it adds up to 100. You don’t know that wasn’t the case you just assert it was the case that 10 is less than planned. You don’t know what was planned, because it turns out numbers in the future can be changed. Are you the head of Amazon’s electric vans?

That may sound like a whole lot of vans, and it is, but the retail giant’s 10,000 van orders were reportedly “on the low end of a range Amazon had communicated earlier to the auto maker,” The Wall Street Journal wrote in March. Hence, the talks to call the exclusivity agreement early.
Amazon doesn't want to buy that many from Rivian and Rivian wants to sell others to boost sales. Now that Rivian can sell to others, Amazon doesn't have to buy that many in the short term, slowing down their purchases while Rivian can fulfill orders outside of Amazon.

So as you say, Amazon gave a range. So no slowdown just in that alone. If I said I’ll buy between 5 and 10 apples at the store, if I buy 6, it doesn’t mean I bought less than I planned. I can see FSD being a unique point but I think that other brands will probably all get something like summon and have fairly decent apps (particularly Rivian).
