Roku xds and apple tv head to head!

Hard Drive connection?

Has anyone used the Roku as an interface to read files from a hard drive? I have a huge library of movies and mp3 files on a hard drive which I am hoping to bring out to play on my home entertainment system when my computer is powered down.
