Sweet!!! What are you going to change? Install xposed and busybox? It's does not trip Knox to so warranty is still intact and you can use Samsung Pay when it launches.

Busy box said there was an error but will try another app and yeah I've crossed into the dark side and will end up going full custom ROM and I could care less about Knox or my warranty.

You gotta pay to play lol

Installed stock Internet browser and set permission for it to work in root explorer.

Verizon decided to not include the samsung stock browser!

Booted up cell and shows the big unlocked lock saying custom...that didn't last long lol.

Not sure what tripped it but it might of been adding the samsung browser.

My phone is officially tripped and tagged as custom os.my banking app gives me a huge warning when I open it saying the phones os is hacked and not secure haha.

The phone is about 10% snappier with all bloat deleted also and some of the verizon apps I permanently deleted might have caused it too.

Now just waiting for an official clean debloated rom

With all the cpu power I decided to under clock the soc to get better Battery life! Damn I miss tweaking and this is bringing me back to my nexus days! Bring on the custom kernels now lol

This is the fun part of android and what ios users will never understand

So now you have a faster phone with a more responsive UI.

You should get even better battery life now after removing all the bloat. Dare I say now even better ram management too?
With all the devs that are loving this phone...there should be some very nice roms coming soon!

1:30 ost with 80% left

----------

guys the geek bench runs on the exynos 7 are all done at 1.5ghz

I can confirm with scores decreasing when I lower the cpu clocks.geek bench or the phone scheduler is not pushing the soc to its max potential and I don't even think the app is using the big cores to achieve it's scores.it's using the baby cores at 1.5 ghz

Still cannot tether with root though.. No way around that I am aware of.

Just wait for a TouchWiz rom that has the verizon subscription bypassed or try foxyfi

I've found my sweet spot.set baby cores for minimum clock of 800 instead of 400mhz and big boys max clocks at 1400mhz instead of 2100mhz.

there is zero Micro stutters or lag this way and the phones Flys never being at 400mhz

Any cons to rooting? I had to go through a couple of hoops to get private mode and S health working again after I rooted the Note 4. Does the same issue happen on the S6?

I somehow tripped my Knox but other then that I have no cons.

I permanently deleted a bunch of apps and that alone was worth it.

My s health app works or boot up but I never signed up to test all functions

If you tripped Knox then you more than likely will not be able to use Samsung pay/wallet or whatever it's called.

That's fine since iv been using Google wallet for years and Google don't give a crap about samsung pay and encourage users to root there devices.

Quick update....my cells runs insanly smooth with everything deleted and busybox installed along with the governor set to performance!

Yeah I think im going to go ahead and take the plunge and root as well. But there are some key root tools like Xposed that doesn't work yet and that's where I get most of my tweaks from. What carrier are you currently on?

I call it unwanted distraction. I moved on from that life years ago. I prefer to just get on with using my iphone than spending hours changing everything willy nilly.

I just rooted mine but now im sitting here like blah because nothing is really compatible like Xposed Framework and Wanam. I am waiting on someone to write up a fully debloated post on what to actually remove. I figured I would go ahead and root since I doubt there will be another update to the S6 coming anytime soon.

LOL, NFL Mobile and Facebook is bloat?:(

Two good ones imo. Wish i could watch NFL Games on my phone but i dont have Verizon.

I dont care about using ROMs any longer but removing the bloat would be nice.

I use Facebook in the browser and always have.NFL mobile on verizon is not free and like 8 bucks a month.

I deleted so much more it's not even funny

When you say you are deleting bloat, are you just freezing it with TB or are you actually deleting them from the system>app file directory in a program like Root Explorer or such?
