Looks like if the rumors are correct, everyone with Windows 8 Phones will be able to download Windows 10 Phone OS on Wednesday. I am looking forward to seeing how it works on my Lumia 925 and what changes are in store for what I still consider the best looking Lumia phone ever made.

If you haven't downloaded the Developer Preview app yet, I would recommend doing it this week if you want to get in on the fun. I'm hoping that IE has been ditched completely, in favor of the Windows Phone version of Spartan and that other browsers function like they should have all along. Time will tell.

Any other Windows Phone users ready for this?

I think if you sign in to https://insider.windows.com, you'll be able to get it.

They have this blurb

So I got registered in the developer app now, had to get a free dev account. As soon as I did that, I received an update which is now downloading. I wonder what it could be. Have there been any dev exclusive updates to 8.1?

Yep, you will get the latest Dev update to 8.1. Any carrier specific code will be wiped in favor of this vanilla OS

So glad I got a high end phone. No Denim, no 10 TP. Should have bought a low end phone, at least then they'd give two craps. :\

Lol, I know its madness no 930/icon/1520

Icon users at least have Denim for now. I got a phone from, supposedly, the carrier that supports WP the best. Now they've been beat by Verizon. I think even most 930 users have Denim.

Yep, no 925 either. My guess is Microsoft is catering to the most commonly sold Lumia's vs flagship phones.

According to them, it is because our phones don't have a bug enough OS partition. As if it wouldn't be easy enough to solve with a fresh installer that partitions it...

Yeah, I just read about it. Partition stitching will probably take months to implement. If my 925 was my primary phone, this would be a bit of a bummer, but since it is my test phone for Win apps, not a big deal. I can wait.

For those really interested, apparently WalMart is selling the Lumia 635 for $50 (no contract required and unlocked) which is one of the phones that can run Windows 10. I'm actually kind of tempted.
