If this turns out to be true, this is the biggest joke ever. That's far worse than anyone here has anticipated... now even the tile deal seems more compelling
I'll still wait out the presentation though and hope all of this is just a huge stunt by Apple misinforming the leak chain. Calling this thing "by innovation only" would otherwise be just a spit into the customers face... squeezing out the last bit of trust to rescue sales numbers. Only couple more hours to find out...

Probably won't happen. But it would be a bit humorous. I am wondering if there will be any surprises. Hard to keep secrets these days. But Apple does a better job than most. I probably won't be tuning into the live stream. But will still look in and my various social media feeds and see what gets announced today.

I mean, an entry level iPad as their OMT, which is gonna be so cheap that any kind of innovation wont be possible, since its otherwise going to cannibalize the sales of the much more expensive Pro model... its almost as if Apple is fooling all the analysts, screaming “oh come on guys, you really believe this ****?”
But if it happens....
I mean what are they expecting? Even if they’ll reach their quarter goals, the press will tear them apart. It’s like the perfect meal served for free... only by innovation... that’s still pretty heavy brand damage. Not even to think about how laughable it will be once Microsoft, Samsung and Google present their stuff in October

I was thinking of this more as an upsell of the $49 sport band, not competing with metal bands
I just want to know if we are still getting a Jony Ive voice over where he talks about polished metal.
No doubt Tim will say “This is the best iPhone we’ve ever made” as he does every year.
