You mean like a bolt hits your screen? Set the correct frequency for your monitor then, or get an uprated HDMI 1.3 cable if you use HDMI.

My monitor frequency at the monitor menu says 67.5 hz but I setted the mnini to 60hz, as 67.5 is not an option. I use DVI cable, and a hmi>DVI adapter. Could this frequency problem be causing it ?
 
2011 MBP fixed!


Worked great! And, now EVE Online doesn't crash on me when I command-tab out! (I'm running on a 2.3GHz i7 quad, the new 2011 model). This machine is the first laptop Apple has shipped that forces 64-bit kernel boot, and this has been causing havok with many people running programs that rely on 32-bit kexts. With this I can force back to 32-bit, something no editing of com.apple.Boot.plist or any other program has been able to do on these models. Great find!
